Area-Level Allied Health Workforce Planning Report

Primary Health Networks (PHNs), and Local Health Networks (LHNs) play crucial roles in assessing community health needs and commissioning services to meet those needs. They also drive collaborations and reduce service duplication.

This report can be used for strategic health workforce planning at a regional level. Our area-level report gives decision makers the data-driven insights into the specific allied health workforce needs of the population within their region, overlaid with workforce supply.

These data are then benchmarked against national data to indicate how allied health service needs within their footprint are being met compared to other regions.

This unique perspective supports the identification of unmet need for allied health services in a community. It also aids in determining the ideal location of and methods for service delivery, ensuring more equitable access for all.
