About the role

The Allied Health Engagement Lead is responsible for driving and facilitating effective engagement with the allied health sector in the Murrumbidgee region. The position will provide leadership on coordination, advocacy, education and establishment of allied health partnerships to influence and support implementation of evidence-based primary care.

The position will be guided by the National PHN Allied Health in Primary Care Engagement Framework to strengthen our engagement with the allied health sector within the Murrumbidgee.

Essential criteria

  • Tertiary level qualification in Allied Health or equivalent; or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in of both allied health and general practice environments including current policy directions
  • Demonstrated experience in customer or stakeholder relationship management with the ability to identify client needs and respond accordingly
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to translate technical and complex information concisely for target audience
  • Demonstrated skills to work autonomously and as part of a team, ensuring high quality program outcomes are achieved
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of relevant technology and software including Microsoft office programs, and customer relationship management systems.

Highly regarded

  • Experience and a working knowledge of the local Primary Healthcare sector would be advantageous.


Base Salary: $103,074.60 per annum plus superannuation
