Exercise Physiologist – Aged Care

A dynamic and caring Exercise Physiologist is sought to fill this role within a residential aged care facility and onsite MSK/aged care clinic in Geelong.

The successful applicant will be required to work across a couple of sites in the area. They will be supported by a team of experienced Physiotherapists and work amongst a multi-disciplinary team within the residential and clinic-based settings.

The role is also responsible for delivering health and wellbeing services to the staff of the aged care facilities, contributing to an overall culture of positive workplace health.

This role can be either full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Exercise Physiology services within a residential aged care setting
• Exercise prescription, gym and hydrotherapy classes
• Exercise Physiology services within an onsite MSK and aged care clinic
• Health and wellbeing services to onsite staff members

Selection Criteria

• Relevant Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
• A passion for high-quality service delivery
• Full ESSA registration
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Previous Aged Care experience is desirable
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organisational skills
• Current driver’s licence and car (required)
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
• 2024 influenza vaccination
• Police Check
• NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
• Eligible to work permanently in Australia
