Dr Susan Nancarrow

DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDER

Susan is a former clinician, manager and academic with over twenty years’ international experience in health and higher education service delivery, organisation and governance.

She has held senior executive roles in higher education, including Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research), Chair of Academic Board and Professor of Health Sciences. She sits on the boards of Northern New South Wales Local Health District and Aspire4Life Board and is involved with other not-for-profit groups.

Susan’s clinical and management roles include community health service manager, small business owner, Aboriginal health, diabetes care and primary health care delivery in Northern India.

Her recently published book “The Allied Health Professions – A Sociological Perspective” with Professor Alan Borthwick, examines the history and sociology of the allied health professions in Australia and the UK.

She lives with her young family on the far north coast of New South Wales where she is a keen surfer, gardener and aspiring creative artist in her spare time.
