Team Lead Psychologist

A highly motivated Psychologist is sought to take on this Team Leader role with a specialist Occupational Rehabilitation provider in Sydney.

This role would see the successful incumbent delivering expert psychological services to employees facing mental health challenges, and applying diverse psychological techniques to aid in client recovery and prevent relapse.

They would work with executive clients in a coaching and consulting capacity:

  • Assisting them throughout the wellbeing continuum from prevention to early intervention and recovery
  • Conduct psychological assessments, including Fitness For Work evaluations, and provide resilience coaching
  • Engage in workplace consulting and training, addressing complex mental health presentations, including high-risk cases.

The primary focus would be on corporate customers, and there would be some exposure to compensable cases.

The Team Leader position will responsible for supervising and mentoring a team and facilitating ongoing professional and organisational development. The position will be well supported by a highly experienced management team to enable the successful candidate to thrive in the role and continue their own professional growth.

Selection Criteria

  • Relevant qualification in Psychology
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Previous experience providing workplace consulting
  • Five or more years’ experience as a Registered Psychologist
  • Ability to develop and build positive relationships within a corporate environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and passionate about providing quality services
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment
