An experienced Occupational Therapist is sought for a Team Lead position in Melbourne’s inner west.

The successful applicant will lead a team of three to four junior Occupational Therapists in a clinic-based setting. They will hold a clinical caseload in addition to leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

Clients will include NDIS, Medicare, insurance & private clients from children to older adults.

The amount of clinical to non-clinical time can be negotiated based on the successful applicant’s experience and motivations and a tailored caseload can also be negotiated to suit their clinical expertise.

Please note only applicants with full AHPRA registration and Australian clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist are being considered for this position.

Other essential position requirements include:

  • Completed Occupational Therapy Tertiary degree (essential)
  • 4-5 years of Australian experience as an Occupational Therapist (essential)
  • Full AHPRA registration (essential)
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia (essential)
  • Current driver’s license and car (essential)

Selection Criteria

  • Completed Occupational Therapy Tertiary degree (essential)
  • 4-5 years of Australian experience as an Occupational Therapist (essential)
  • Full AHPRA registration (essential)
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia (essential)
  • Current driver’s license and car (essential)
  • Proficient skills in complex assessment and report writing
  • Experience working within the NDIS system
  • MUST have a working with children check and NDIS worker screening check
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • A passion for high-quality service delivery
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
