Podiatrist – Residential Aged Care

A dynamic and caring Podiatrist is sought to join the team in the inner north of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be working within a residential aged care setting and aged care clinic and will be expected to work across a couple of sites in the area. They will be supported by a team of experienced Podiatrists and will work with a multi-disciplinary team within the residential and clinic-based settings.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide client-focused services in Aged Care, helping clients to identify and reach their goals
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence and positive wellbeing
  • Conduct assessments and work collaboratively other allied health staff and supervise allied health assistants as required
  • Enjoy working in a team of experienced and dedicated health practitioners, providing quality care and positive outcomes for clients

This is a full-time role with opportunity for part-time.

Selection Criteria

  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Podiatry
  • Previous Aged Care experience is desirable
  • A passion for high-quality service delivery
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Police Check
  • Current driver’s licence and car (required)
  • 2024 influenza vaccination
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
  • NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
