An experienced Occupational Therapist is sought to join a wonderful mobile team with a head office in Melbourne’s Inner Northwest.

The successful candidate will be working in a mobile role which will allow them the flexibility to build a caseload in their local area and allow them to work from home.

As a dedicated professional member of the team, the successful incumbent will:

  • Deliver person centered intervention and support for people under the NDIS
  • Provide assessment and treatment across various settings such as homes, schools, community, and online platforms
  • Collaborate within a supportive environment
  • Facilitate clients to achieve their individual goals
  • Enjoy the option to work across the life span, or work with only adults or only paediatric clients.

Due to the company being OT owned and operated, the successful candidate’s needs as a clinician will be understood and listened to. They will also benefit from the flexibility to upskill and specialise in an area of clinical interest such as driving assessing, assistive technology or home modifications and will be financially supported with a generous $6k professional development allowance for career progression in alignment with professional goals.

This full-time role is open to full and part time applicants. New Masters Graduates through to experienced clinicians encouraged to apply.

Selection Criteria

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (Obtained in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland or South Africa)
  • AHPRA registration (open to OT’s who require supervised practice)
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • A passion for high-quality service delivery
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Own car and current driver’s license
  • Current police check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS worker screen (or willingness to obtain)
  • Open to overseas applicants from UK, Ireland and South Africa requiring sponsorship
