Graduate Speech Pathologist

A passionate and talented Graduate Speech Pathologist is sought for a community NDIS role in Brisbane.

The successful applicant will support people of all ages who are living with a disability to live with independence. They will:

  • Provide person-centred services for a mixed caseload of clients
  • Develop therapy plans
  • Identify an individual plan to bridge the gap between a person’s current and optional functioning

Therapists generally travel to a diverse range of locations to provide therapy on the premise that services are most effective in the person’s usual environments and routines. As such, assessment and treatment predominantly occurs at home, school or workplace, but therapy is also offered in the offices in-clinic/rooms.

This is a full-time position, part time will also be considered.

Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary Speech Pathology qualification
  • Current registration with SPA
  • A passion and drive to make a difference
  • Active listener and critical thinking skills
  • Enthusiasm to grow and expand your knowledge, skill-set and career
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A learning mindset with a desire to challenge your existing perception
  • Current Driver’s License and car
  • Current Working With Children’s Certificate
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
