Unique, new opportunity for a clinical expert Allied Health professional to guide and direct best practice in the specialty of Neurology, working with our ABI Rehabilitation programs, Transition Accommodation, and Capacity Building Programs.

About the role

The Clinical Lead Neurology supports the broader Disability Services team in developing and implementing an optimal clinical neurological practice approach. This role is responsible for fostering a culture of understanding and consistency by assisting Brightwater staff in translating clinical presentations related to neurological impact into a social model of care across both residential and community-based settings.

This is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the General Manager of Brightwater Disability Services.

Essential criteria

  • A tertiary qualification with an Allied Health background and registration (post graduate qualification desirable).
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a senior staff member working in Neurological practice.
  • A demonstrated experience and knowledge of clinical practice relevant to a community setting with individuals living with medical co-morbidities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management, leadership and mentoring of staff.
  • Ability to support and conduct short and long term change projects.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training with strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
  • Satisfactory Working with Children’s Check.
